Microsoft Wants The iPod Dead

It comes as no surprise that Microsoft is a little more than perturbed at Apple's stranglehold on the MP3 player market. The iPod's dominance in that sphere has spurned partnerships with Phillips and Samsung to design MP3 players to rival the iPod.


The key to the iPod's success though, is the entire package offering by Apple. iTunes combined with the iPod on either platform is a delight to many. The player itself may be en vogue right now and that can be attributed to its simplicity and the well-trained ID group at Apple.
